Responsibilities
1. Team management - I trained and develop staff to maximize performance, aid retention and reduce turnover, I was accountable for the delivery of the performance management process in line with Company procedures, and to ensure team receive, understand & adhere to all company policies & procedures.
2. Commercial/Financial Management - I was accountable for hotel weekly accounts and all company paperwork as per company & audit procedures, work within the company set budgets relating to food, linen and cleaning costs to provide the standard of service required.
3. Quality Assurance/Customer Service – I managed all aspects of the customer service within the hotel in order to anticipate and exceed customer expectations.
4. Communication - I Kept the Hotel Manager and all staff informed on all relevant business issues & updates using varied methods of communication and provided detailed and accurate reports as required by Hotel Manager and General Manager.
5. Change Management - I reviewed services offered & obtained feedback from internal & external customers on an ongoing basis and contribute ideas for continued development.
6. I trained the Chinese staff on speaking professional Hotel English and was also in charge of foreign guests who could not speak Chinese to ensure they get the best service.
