Dates: September 2010 to June 2011 Position: Teacher Duties: -I taught both English Major and non English major causes (including four year and associate degrees) primarily conversational and culture courses using a range of materials and texts. -I taught Advanced English (grade three English majors) Integrated English (covering reading, writing, listening using a range of essays, articles and in-depth texts). It was a course designed for students who have attained a high level of academic ability. As well as this I taught the English department’s Chinese teachers a culture course for two semesters. -I also taught a IELTs course to International students in preparation for their post graduate studies in Britain, Australia and America. - I developed original curriculum material and course outlines which were chosen to be introduced as standard at the university. - I acted as a judge at various competitions and question master for final year dissertation discussion as well as tutoring in debate and preparing students for the MUN (Model United Nations) debate completion.
