Organized a ten-week lecture series on American Culture, giving one lecture on Music in the United States. Copy-edited an English language textbook authored by department faculty. Instructor, Southwest University for Nationalities, Peace Corps, China, July 2009—July 2011 Created and implemented Oral English curriculum for first year English majors and basic American Business etiquette for 2nd year English majors. Participated in university lecture program and gave one lecture on the Music of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. Helped students with outside activities. Long-term substitute Special Education Teacher, Co-op program Gallup-McKinley County School District, Gallup, New Mexico, 9/2006 – 5/2009 Ensured IEP (individual educational plans) are provided to eligible students and to other students as appropriate while providing support service to students and teachers as academic/social needs arise.
