- Foremost, a Royal Navy Logistics Manager responsible for hundreds of Armed Forces personnel is a leader. I was primarily concerned about the welfare of others; handling their legal, pay, travel and career issues. It was my job to optimize the ship’s clerical systems and as the ship’s trusted expert, I would advise everyone from the newest recruit to the Captain on personnel matters. When the ship went into action, I worked tirelessly alongside my crewmates as an Incident Board Operator, passing vital information on to the damage-control teams who protect personnel from the risk of fires and floods.
