Teach English and Western social skills to children through games and video, using a Canadian-style method, locally designed by the school.

                        Attended classes in order to obtain official teacher’s certification from the State of Texas, U.S.A.  Performed required one semester internship at Chisholm Trail Elementary in Sanger, Texas.  The school offered me a job, but I wanted to return to China to teach.  I enjoy teaching in China.

Supervised one kindergarten class in the morning and assisted various classes in the afternoon, teaching English as a Second Language.

Amarillo College, Amarillo, Texas.  December 1991 to October 1994.

Supervised the evening and weekend shifts of the Testing Center at Amarillo College.  Administered the TOEFL, ACT, SAT, TASP, AC Placement, and various other tests as needed.  The Testing Center, being part of the Advising Department, I also counselled students academically, regarding what classes would best procure their degree most efficaciously.

Acted as assistant manager for the non-foods department and eventually managed my own department just before the chain went out of business.

Personal Information:     I am married to a lovely wife.  We are not fortunate enough to have children, so we love to care for those of others.  I speak decent Mandarin and am currently learning Spanish.
