Encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage in all activities. · Reading with individual children and groups and complete reading records every day · Identifying children's developmental speech and communication difficulties/disorders and working with the pupils on a one-to-one basis and in groups , in order to progress · Assessing communication environments and leading a French and Dance after-school club
Caldecott Foundation Feb 2015 – April 2015 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (7-15 years old pupils) Main duties were: • assessing, managing and delivering pastoral and learning support; • providing feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement • working with pupils, understanding how to motivate and encourage them to achieve and develop. • understanding the individual needs of children and be responsible for advising them on social, health and hygiene development. • promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom and encouraging pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage in all activities • reading with individual children and groups and complete reading records as directed by the class teacher Increase their self control and making a positive and regular contribution to the school by leading them, coaching and supporting at all the times was another responsibility, developing pupil’s key learning skills and experiences by assisting our pupils to develop the vocabulary to express themselves confidently in various situations and seek help when appropriate. In many occasions I was assigned to individual pupils who are in need of additional help, this was because of English is not their first language or because they have learning difficulties and require additional help understanding or completing tasks.

Maths and IT teacher supply (7-14years old pupils) Ashbrook Centre is an independent day school which provides a satisfactory quality of education and meets its aims. My responsibility as a supply teacher was to instruct students, give tasks using ICT equipment, create lesson plans, assign and correct homework, mark their work, manage students in the classroom, report results to the main teacher. Some other responsibilities were: for the interested students we had some introductory languages lesson in French and Italian, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities, sometimes individually; motivating students, marking work, giving appropriate feedback, researching new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, selecting and using a range of different learning resources and equipment (mainly IT equipment), including podcasts and interactive whiteboards; managing pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises, and applying appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior. Even though it has been a short time experience, I have learnt impressively.
