Key Functions:
My duties as a teacher included developing English lesson plans in line with the national curriculum: Instructed students in English language arts, including writing, reading comprehension, speaking, listening and understanding.
Modified assignments and activities to meet the learning needs of individual students. Evaluated students’ class work and assignments: Graded tests, essays, reports and other assignments .Regularly provided students with feedback in line with the faculty assessment systems.
IB Literature : My key focus was to introduced students to the analysis of literary texts. Assisted students to develop the ability to engage in close, detailed analysis of literary works, building understanding of the techniques involved in literary criticism.
IB CAS Coordinator:( Creativity, Action, Service (CAS)- Diploma Program
As the CAS Coordinator my duties involved assisting and promoting students to become:
Reflective thinkers—to understand their own strengths and limitations, identify goals and devise strategies for personal growth.
My role was to further promote students to be involved in Global Issues by supporting local and international community work.
I also took part in the school quality assurance , attended and contributed to school meetings and weekly briefing.
Worked as a team supporting teachers in spreading and sharing best practices.
Identified students at risk of underachievement and ensured that appropriate interventions were in place.
Assist new teachers to understand the school’s curriculums, while mentoring and coaching them to settle into a new school and teaching environment.
Outstanding Roles:
I initiated the first AIDA Debating Club which was a great success and later joined the Global Scholar Cup Debating Team. I was responsible to train and accompany our students to participate in the Global Scholar Cup Championships held in Hong Kong and in Bangkok..
The first Differentiated Class and EAL Department was also initiated by me.
I was highly recognized by both parents and school management for my outstanding work and was presented with The Most Responsible Teacher Award.

My role as a kindergarten teacher was to set up an educational foundation for young students just beginning their educational journey. I had to provide a variety of materials and instructional techniques to students to keep their young minds observing and learning, while also providing the basic rules and guidelines for behavioral and health practices.

I founded Pathways of Hope (POH) in South Africa and later this project was introduced to communities in Asia and became known for it’s successful community based projects .The goal of the Training and Development component of POH ‘S work is to build human capacity globally, to strengthen interventions that are women and child centered. This is an NGO that is driven by volunteers.
