Taught a class of 15-25 seniors and 15-20 students of Kindergarten-12th grade sector, English as a second language from a Spanish speaking perspective; created my own lesson plan that targeted individual challenges to each student, implemented power points with lots of visual aids, used music, poetry, Walt Disney films, cartoons, anime, art, songs, conversations and theater to inspire a creative learning environment for each student no matter what age; encouraged students to read in English by using music lyrics for kids and magazines, newspapers, and for the seniors who had grandchildren, i created goals for them to achieve by first learning to read books to their grandchildren with an approved list i compiled; used a call and response method for teaching because it kept students excited, alert and happy to participate; also compiled oral and written tests for students that was different for each student's level

For a little over four years I have tutored all ages in American Sign Language and English; from infants and their parents, school age children, students with special needs, to college students. Taught ASL and English vocabulary, simple sentences, one-word communication for infants, then more complex paragraphs with proper ASL and English grammar and ASL stories.

By referrals from students, I was able to tutor college students in elementary to intermediate French. It was all conversational practice for these students and I gave immediate feedback on pronunciation, verb tense accuracy, vocabulary and provided homework help in their current classes in French.
