Financial Ombudsman Service, London Case Assessor 2012
My role at the organisation was as a Case Assessor whereby my main duties and responsibilities were to look into
consumers financial complaints, find out what has happened, liaise both with the financial business and consumer and
try and find a fair and reasonable resolution. It involved having to effectively employ a wide variety of skills in order
to reach a fair and reasonable outcome. Strong customer handling skills were required, diligent attention to detail an
utmost, and strong analytical skills to determine exactly where the fault lies for the financial wrongdoing, and whether
or not a solution in the forms of compensation were required.
Key Skills that were required by the Financial Ombudsman Service included; strong analytical skills, meeting targets
and deadlines, customer service and sensitivity, working in a fast and diverse environment, the ability to make
important decisions and to also work effectively as part of a team. !!!!!

A2S Communication, Paris Interviewer 2011 - 2012
I worked at A2S Communication as an interviewer on behalf of INIT Marketing among other international companies.
Computer literacy, strong communication and reporting skills were fundamental requisites of the job, as well as
working effectively as part of an international team. !
Tianjin, China English Language Teacher 2013
I taught two 4 year old Chinese children English whilst studying Mandarin at Nankai University. It was a new
challenge that provided many difficulties. The children’s parents were present every class and, as I had little
experience teaching, it was job that required me to continuously think on my feet whilst under pressure. The role
required forethought, planning and an awareness of the children’s abilities and interests to tailor each class to be
effective as possible. It also required me to use both Mandarin and English to be able to hold effective lessons. !
Managerial Work Experience: !
COS, Kensington, London Administrative Manager & Supervisor 2009-2010
I worked as an Administrative Manager, Supervisor, Pay Roll and Team Leader for a rapidly expanding, high end
retailer whilst studying for my undergraduate degree. I was also an Office Assistant for the company as well as to
manager, often being a point of call for staff and clients alike. The main duties included being responsible for Staff
rotas, banking, payroll, opening and closing the store, stock take and as an acting store manager and security when
required. The experiences gained form this role were extremely valuable. I learned how to manage a small team, factor
in the expected and unexpected and work to deadlines. !
Customer Service Work Experience: !
Cellar Society, London Catering Staff 2011
I worked as part of a team catering at different high profile events. Punctuality, presentation, communication and
strong customer service skills were all required in this fast-paced job. !
H&M, Kensington, London Sales Assistant 2008-2010
I worked part time as a team leader, staff trainer and sales assistant whilst studying for my undergraduate degree. The
role of Team Leader required me to instruct and teach new employees of their roles and the overall functions of the
store. Again, good customer service skills were required !
GAP, London Sales Assistant 2007-2008
This was my first job in retail and customer service where I achieved the Most Valuable Employee Award. It was a full
time role where often I was left alone to handle the menswear floor. Duties included re-stocking, operating the till
register, greeting customers and sales. !

I worked part time as an assistant for Cool Badge which is a music promotion company. The main responsibilities
included doing tasks such as mail-outs, office organisation and product distribution. !
