Location – Fareham, Hampshire UK
Role – Claims Handler
Responsibilities: To ensure application forms are chased and turned into received cases, maximise referrals from your pipeline cases, provide updates as required to your customers and to help catalyse a conclusion to the mis-sale claim where required (problem solving, document chasing, etc), communicate offers of compensation to customers, to explain timescales and next steps, and to chase collection of monies where applicable, ensuring a high level of professionalism and sales fall within Ministry of Justice guidelines.

September 2012 – June 2013 - Moved back to UK from China to focus on my University course and home study.






Guangzhou University of Auto-Technology & Almayca Language School - March 2009 – September 2012
Location: Guangzhou, China.
Role: Teacher English Oral Conversation - Business Economics & International Trade.  
Responsibilities: To teach English Major students aged 19-22 in classes of between 10-40 students, in accordance with University & School curriculum courses, programmes and material, to support, encourage, motivate and build confidence within each student, to improve ability in communication, pronunciation, and understanding of spoken English. Taught graduate courses in applied linguistics and second-language teaching methodology. Taught undergraduate courses in EFL in all skills and at all levels. Taught integrated skills academic English, special interest courses, study abroad preparation and film studies. Taught cross-cultural psychology in short-term exchange program.


Porto Antigo Group - May 2007- December 2009

Responsibilities: To sell new build properties off-plan to European clients, maintaining a high standard of presentation at all times, manage and qualify enquiries either walk in or via email, assisting in translation of Legal Documentation from Italian to English, promote location, benefits and potential of new build development, arrange and accompany area tours and site visits, negotiating offers and securing deposits on plots, achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets, provide progress reports to International Sales Manager based in Italy, ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.
