Having only just started working for Devere in a new continent I don’t have too much experience in this field but I am looking to gain necessary qualifications to becoming a financial consultant. I have initially only networked around Shenzhen, China to start building a client base.
JAN 2011-APR 2014: ENERGY SAVING GROUP. (Job Title – Sales/energy Surveyor)
Going out to meet and greet members of the public who are looking to join the green revolution. I carry out structural surveys on households and precisely measure, plan and order custom solar panel circuits to reduce CO2 levels and generate electricity for each house. A lot of responsibility is put on my shoulders to make sure every aspect of the installation runs smoothly as each install can cost up to £15,600.
OCT 2008-JAN 2011: STAYBRITE WINDOWS. (Job Title – Sales Manager)
A very successful and demanding position with regards management skill and hours of employment. Staybrite is a national company that operate in a direct sales approach. I was in charge of most things from generating appointments by managing a team of canvassers to negotiating a sale with customers via the telephone. As part of my duties I also managed a team of 8 salespersons operating at times on a 12 hour working day. Responsibilities such as opening and closing our premises, applying for finance via UK’s largest lenders, signing legally binding contractual paperwork and arranging installations were very difficult to manage but hard work and endeavour led to a period of success that my region had not experienced before.
NOV 2006-SEPT 2008: SHIRE LEASING PLC. (Job title – Business Account manager)
Following a very successful year at Chamberlains Estate Agents, I was head hunted by Shire Leasing PLC. My Two years here had given me great pleasure working in the finance sector. Dealing on a day to day basis of business to business transactions I proved to myself that now I could deal very well with the public sector and also international businesses. I spoke daily to managing directors and financial directors of large established companies in attempts to win over their leasing accounts. Being the largest own book lender in the UK we were target driven and having worked as head of a team we were ahead of schedule all through my time here.
OCT 2005-OCT 2006: CHAMBERLAINS ESTATE AGENTS (Job Title – Assistant Branch Manager)
Training new sales negotiators, partaking in the responsibilities of running a highly recognised establishment and offering a unique service to our ever growing upper market clientele were my main objectives and accomplishments. What I enjoyed most was managing and delegating the effective method of contract chasing from the original sale to the completion of the sale by interacting very closely with solicitors involved.
