Employer: FunFun English Role: English Teacher (Voluntary) Teaching English to immigrants from the Eastern Block. I taught all levels from kindergarten to adult for 2 hours a week.
Job Description: While waiting out the recession and figuring out what I would like to do I did some importing from various countries and re-sold the products on ebay, I learned a huge amount of skills doing this such as:
ñ Researching the products and working out profit margins ñ Negotiating with foreign sellers ñ Making sure I protected my money from any fraud related incidents ñ Making my advertisement stand out so the customer would see it ñ I learned a few different sales techniques for certain products (such as giving a free gift or selling a 5+ at a time then the buyer then resells them individually on eBay) ñ Keeping on the customers good side so I receive positive feedback. ñ I documented every part in Microsoft Excel Employer: BancTec Services UK Job Description: As a call centre agent I was one of the main call processors. We are the first point of contact for the field service technicians and ensure that they are updated as and when new instructions arrive. One of the main duties was to assist in any problems that arise and to also chase the estimated times of job completion with the engineers. Employer: Australian Education Foundation (AEF) Employer: Various Training School in Guangzhou Role: Oral English Teacher From: July 2013 To: Nov 2013 Job Description: I worked as an English teacher at Shane English in the city of Dalian. I planned lessons and taught from the ages of 4-18. I was the main teacher of the English corner once a week in a local library and also did some promotional work to bring in more students.
