Managed credit line increase and authorization strategies, determining which segments of this population were profitable with different treatments. Presented strategy recommendations to senior management for approval. Managed one direct report and served as a formal mentor for 3 employees in our department. Provided both technical and business guidance to new employees.

Co-managed credit card authorization system (FDR). Worked extensively with authorization level data, analyzing different segments of portfolio for levels of risk. Initiated and implemented authorization strategy changes, based on risk and profitability. Analyzed performance of strategy changes to measure effectiveness. Became Risk policy product owner for Secured card portfolio. Created and produced monthly MIS on various portfolio segments.
Economic Analyst, International Group -- Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates (WEFA)
August 1996 – May 1998
Produced quarterly economic forecasts for the economy of Iceland. Along with forecasting all major economic attributes (Gross Domestic Product, Imports/Exports, Exchange Rates, etc.), put together a written economic summary for our quarterly publication. Edited all economic write-ups for my colleagues (most of whom were not native English speakers) for grammar, spelling and content.
