Teaching an MBA course, in negotiation and communication, to business students. I created a nine week course with role plays, language and many different activities focusing on oral English.

Teaching oral English and teaching methods to the university students. I have to prepare my own course in culture, teaching methods and advanced English. Using PowerPoint’s, movies, music, role plays, debates and scenarios. Teaching and discussing issues such psychology, social history, materialism and social changes in Chinese society. I have been improving the oral English but also on their confidence to use their second language as a teacher. Also I have prepared a two part assessment which all of the students must pass to finish their course.
BUAA university September 2011-present time
Teaching English writing. Developing their writing skills. Using different techniques and activities to improve their ability. Setting weekly assignment and critically marking them. Giving the students regular feedback on how they can improve. Setting and marking an end of term and end of year assessment.
Beijing no 4 middle school
September 2011- present time.
Teaching oral English in the international department. Making my own lessons to engage students. Using PowerPoint’s, movies, music, role plays, debates and language games. To encourage the students to be confident in speaking in English.
Beijing no 39 middle school
September 2011- present time.
Teaching geography in the international department of the school. Preparing worksheets for the students. Taking them threw the course. Increasing their English level and giving them an insight into some basic geography theory. I also have to prepare an end of term exam.
Teaching TOEFL to international students. Pushing them to the rather high standards required of this examination. Focusing on Speaking, listening and reading.
New oriental school
Teaching in the summer vacation for university students, who have come to Beijing from all over China. I had to design my own power points and create a 6 day course for six different classes. The students were provided with the ispeak textbook for a starting point and as an introduction to the course. I also chose to explain some ideas about western culture, psychology, social history and the challenges that Chinese students face in an ever changing society.

I have been teaching different age groups from primary school, middle school, high schools. I have been mainly focusing on oral English, using dynamic activities to engage the students.

I was working in fang cao di international primary school. I had students in my class from all over the world. I had to develop their speaking, writing and listening. I used group activities, writing tasks, videos and grammar books.

Working as an English language teacher. Giving extra English lessons in primary schools in Beijing. Using fun and exciting games to develop children’s passion for English.
