BIBS has been educating students in Beijing for more than twenty-one years and in the process has grown from one small Kindergarten campus to a K-12 school of 800 students spread over two campuses and six Kindergarten locations with a over 700 students.

We are committed to providing an outstanding quality English/Chinese bilingual international program, available to both International and Chinese students and focused on preparing students to enter university entrance throughout the world. Today, Beanstalk Education Group operates two distinct divisions: the Kindergarten Division (Beanstalk International Kindergartens), and the K-12 Division (BIBS – Beanstalk International Bilingual School). Our six kindergarten centers: five in Chaoyang District in Beijing and one on Hainan Island in southern China, combine to educate more than 550 students, while BIBS provides the K-12 International Baccalaureate Programme for nearly 800 students across two campuses in Beijing’s Chaoyang and Shunyi districts. Throughout its expansion, the Beanstalk Education Group has held true to its core values and educational philosophy, providing engaging and balanced international curricula in supportive and stimulating environments, encouraging our students to develop as thinkers and individuals.

Our Kindergarten Centers provide a contemporary early years program that seeks to excite childrens’ natural curiosity and support their learning about themselves and the word around them, as well as their social, emotional and physical development.

BIBS provides a bilingual immersion Chinese and English environment in the Early Years, which transitions naturally to a sheltered immersion model in lower elementary grades with 60% taught in English and 40% in Chinese transitioning to 70/30% in the upper Elementary grades. The Middle and High schools focus on English as the language of instruction preparing students to take IB Diploma examinations.

Language support is provided for students who need additional support both at beginner and mother tongue language levels in both English and Chinese. BIBS also provides a wide range of learning support and counseling services.

BIBS is an IB World School authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme and is a candidate for the IB PYP and IB MYP programmes. BIBS is also accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), meaning that the BIBS High School Diploma is equivalent to graduating in the United States. Moreover, BIBS students can graduate Grade 12 with a bilingual IB Diploma!
