Sales & Operations Coordinator
To do first line, telephonic trouble shooting / fault finding in liaison with clients.
To coordinate support helpdesk enquiries from existing clients and liaise with
relevant suppliers in order to speedily resolve support calls.
To manage and follow through on the successful outcomes of these client enquiries or support calls.
To coordinate and follow through on maintenance and installations processes.
To handle administration associated with the above tasks.
To efficiently keep track of all operational coordination tasks assigned to you and timeously reach a successful outcome.
To collect the relevant data and compile monthly Client maintenance reporting.
Sales Coordination
To provide general assistance to the sales processes – that covers both new and existing clients.
Preparation of sales proposal requests to Suppliers, including all supporting
documentation.
To follow through on proposal requests to ensure that they are received timeously.
To efficiently keep track of all sales coordination tasks assigned to you and
timeously reach a successful outcome.
To coordinate assistance with client technical and billing related queries.
To perform administrative responsibilities associated with the above.

Preparation of sales proposals for the Business Unit (Voice, SMS, Fax, OCM, DATA)
Generation of all relevant Sales Prospects and acquisition of all necessary information when necessary
Cost savings report generation for the Business Unit – To be submitted to KAM’s monthly
Telkom Account Requests – E-Bill login detail information to be gathered where applicable (BUM to supply list of clients)
Client event list generation and response follow up and consolidation.
Accurate & efficient monitoring & submission of all sales files to Sales processing department.
Co-ordinates, maintenance sales, registrations & Installations/projects.
Compile weekly sales figures and Cristal Hotlist report
Assistance with the SALY Report process as per BU requirements
Preparation and distribution of weekly sales meeting minutes.
Ensure that all relevant proposals are completed within the specified 48 hour turnaround time and that proposals submitted to Product Managers are completed within the required timeframes
List to be provided by BUM for all required CSR’s with specified dates for completion
List to be provided by BUM for all required Telkom information with specified dates for completion
Details to be consolidated under a single information pool and extracted when required.
Facilitate all file handovers to processing department within specified time frames.
Assistance with client technical and billing related queries.
Drawing up proposals, presentations, and tender responses as required.
Administrative responsibilities associated with the above, including, but not limited to the internal processing of sales, files and liaison with sales/account management staff.
Facilitation of the collection and compilation of information relating to installation and billing of services
Contract and billing & technical analysis.
Interpretations of various reports.
Installations ; Voice: GSM, Neotel, VoIP, Data, fax, TMS, SMS, LCR, Cristal, fishbone etc
Client liaison relating to new sales/ retention activities.
Travel arrangements.
Liaison with other departments e.g technical and registrations dept.
Assisting in general functions required from the Regional managers and sales specialists/ accounts.
I don't work closely with clients all the time, but I do get to put together client and marketing packs together for account managers and draw up proposals for them, after analysing the type of business, industry the client is in. By so doing i feel i equip the account manager the necessary tools and ability to can attract the clients to us.
